Distributing Recognition Engine Files with an Application

To distribute an application that uses ImageGear.Recognition Namespace, you must include into the distribution package the Recognition engine files and their dependencies. The set of files needed depends on the type(s) of recognition performed by the application.

If you are using Recognition in a web project, you cannot use the default constructor, as it is not suited to web applications. Instead, you need to specify the location of the dependencies in the Recognition constructor, ImGearRecognition Constructor(String).

Deploying an application that uses the ImageGear Recognition Component requires the following merge modules to be installed:

32-Bit:

Microsoft_VC100_CRT_x86.msm (http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=5555)
Microsoft_VC100_MFC_x86.msm

64-Bit:

Microsoft_VC100_CRT_x64.msm (http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=14632)
Microsoft_VC100_MFC_x64.msm

and redistributing the following dependencies:

32-Bit:
