getCategory Method

Returns Category IPTC dataset.

Method returnsthe tag value if the tag is present in the metadata tree, or null otherwise.

This method accesses the Category DataSet (2:15). The DataSet identifies the subject of the objectdata in the opinion of the provider.

Maximum three bytes, consisting of alphabetic characters.

Syntax
public java.lang.String getCategory()

Return Value

String value. *
