This section describes how to upgrade from ISIS Xpress 6 to ISIS Xpress 7. While generally you'll be able to replace ISIS Xpress 6 with ISIS Xpress 7, there are a few important changes you may need to consider. This section provides information about those changes.

Library Name, GUID, and ProgID

• The library name has changed from AccusoftISISXpress6 to AccusoftISISXpress7.
• The GUID for the ISISXpress ActiveX control has changed in ISIS Xpress 6 from {674F73B9-CCB2-4135-A2E1-4640F8FEB67A} to the new value in ISIS Xpress 7 of {756267C2-A52D-4EE0-8F2D-E921B25D66D9}.
• The ProgID has changed from ‘Accusoft.ISISXpress.6’ to ‘Accusoft.ISISXpress.7’.

New API

• Added the ability to transfer compressed images to memory with the new properties SaveFileToMemory and FileDataInMemory.
• The GetNumSupportedTags() and GetSupportedTag() methods have been added to the interface to allow you to get the supported tags of a scanner.
